You could post a normal boring Elevator Pitch that results in coming off too salesly or honestly kind of boring. People have seen it to much and quite frankly no one really gives a fuck about who you are or what you do. BUT, people do care about their problems and they want them solved. Welcome to POPP
Begin your video with a hook making your viewer problem aware. Problem aware hooks can be created by identifying and analyzing common issues or pain points that viewer experiences. Make it so negative they have no choice but to listen.
Example: You are slowly killing yourself by drinking tap water. Germs and pathogens in that water are taking over your blood.
Now give them hope, be the hero to the villain you just created (Tap Water 😈) Don’t introduce your product as the hero. Let the viewer determine that your product saved the day, and don’t guide them towards it.
Example: To get unpoisoned water you need a filter. A filter will block all of bacteria & cancerous pathogens.
We have officially scared the shit out of the viewer, now it’s time to give them steps to follow. Within these steps your product needs to be a part of the equation. Let’s say your product is the Faucet Mount Water Filtration System
Example: First you need to get your water filter (MAKE IT SO OBVIOUS WHAT THE BRAND OF YOUR FILTER IS) Wash out the filter with warm water. Now unscrew your facet head and replace it with our (The our was very important, it serves a big purpose within this sale pitch because it’s saying buy our shit without saying buy our shit) faucet mount.
Now tell them that the hero saved the day and that the city is safe. Give them the exact outcome they dreamed of and conclude with solving their problem
Example: Now just flip the water on and your free to drink as much tap water as you want. Not only is it safe it even taste better weirdly enough.
